At Maggie Marilyn we don't want to make token promises so we have taken time to listen, learn and truly understand how at Maggie Marilyn we can make meaningful and lasting change in the fight for EQUALITY. 

In 2018 we set out to build a roadmap of how we were going to achieve our mission to be a circular, transparent, accountable and empowering business. This became known as our Sustainability Strategy. Whenever we have hit roadblocks or felt a sense of loss of purpose, this strategy has been our guiding light. We now understand we need this same focus in order to build a business that is truly inclusive, representative and empowering across the spectrum.  From the people who work in our supply chain, our team, customers and really everyone beyond that. We need a policy to hold us accountable as we grow and to ensure we have the right support and policies in place for when we are a team of 20, 50, 100 and beyond. 

So, we are in the process of building our first INCLUSION policy. Our aim is to have this completed by the 1st of September, 2020. 

We feel it’s really important to have conversations with our community to better understand what they may need before we write the specifics of our Inclusion Policy. We feel it should be a collaborative approach to ensure we aren’t writing a policy internally that isn’t reflective of our communities true needs.
