Key to our mission at Maggie Marilyn is caring for and respecting all people in our supply chain. In order to do this, we must know who is involved at each tier. Through our determination to forge a new path, and time spent building trusting relationships with our suppliers, we are proud that our Somewhere garments are traceable from farm to finished garment.

Makers

We hold dear the close relationships we have with all of our makers, relationships that come with the uniqueness of manufacturing in New Zealand. We are proud to be contributing to our wonderful community and providing work to small, often family owned businesses. We hope to help them prosper and hopefully regenerate New Zealand's clothing manufacturing industry into the booming industry it once was.

Regenerative Agriculture

An important part of having a traceable supply chain, is that we are able to work with our suppliers on each level of the supply chain to better their sustainability practices. One of our aims is to work with our farmers and suppliers to encourage the implementation of regenerative agriculture processes, as we urgently need to regenerate our natural systems.

While organic farming is about doing less harm, regenerative agriculture builds on this, focusing on actively improving our environment. Through restoring vital nutrients to our soil it is able to sequester more carbon from the atmosphere, prevent soil erosion and increase biodiversity, in turn enhancing our natural resources.

Certifications

Taking someone's word that a fabric is organic or has a GOTS certification, is simply not good enough for us. We have the paperwork to support every certification our garments hold. If you would like to know more or to see any of our certifications, we would love to hear from you! Email us at info@maggiemarilyn.com
