Postcards from New York, February '25
Here's a few photos from my camera roll and some images from our friend, photographer James K. Lowe, who I spent an afternoon with in Chelsea to shoot our newest Forever jacket, the Through The Years Trench.
A trench for crowded New York subways and Sydney buses. Something you could stuff into your carry-on for landing in a new climate. A trench that felt timeless but with cherry jam-striped lining that made you smile when you saw it hanging on the restaurant coat rack.
I wanted to design a trench that would see you through not just autumns and springs, but the seasons of your own inner world: This is the jacket I reach for when I want to look like a woman who’s got her sh*t together... When I’ve got lipstick in one pocket and crumbs from Ralph's breakfast in the other (and wet tissues from crying stuffed up my sleeve). I’ve worn it over activewear when I haven’t had time to change and with Fine Tailoring for important meetings.
A good trench is forgiving of different jobs and climates and versions of ourselves - and a great one will carry you through the years.
