Below is a body measurement guide to illustrate the measurement points that our design and pattern making teams work from to create Maggie Marilyn designs.

Bust

Measurement of the bust is taken at the fullest part with arms positioned down.

Natural Waist

This is the measurement around the narrowest point of the true waistline. Tie a piece of string around your waist and take the measurement from where it naturally sits.

Lower Waist

Measured roughly 7cm below the natural waist.

Hips

Measurement around the fullest part of the hip. Roughly 21cm below the natural waist.

Sleeve

Measured from the point of the shoulder to the wrist.

Bicep

Measured around the top arm/bicep, this measurement applies to our form fitting shirts such as knits and long sleeve turtlenecks.
