Below is a body measurement guide to illustrate the measurement points that our design and pattern making teams work from to create Maggie Marilyn designs.

Body Measurement

  • Measurement of the bust is taken at the fullest part with arms positioned down.

  • This is the measurement around the narrowest point of the true waistline. Tie a piece of string around your waist and take the measurement from where it naturally sits.

  • Measured roughly 7cm below the natural waist.

  • Measurement around the fullest part of the hip. Roughly 21cm below the natural waist.

  • Measured from the point of the shoulder to the wrist.

  • Measured around the top arm/bicep, this measurement applies to our form fitting shirts such as knits and long sleeve turtlenecks.
